Who We Are

Initially founded by Trustees of the North Hampton Public Library & Cultural Center, the Foundation is now run by a team of volunteers with business, library, educational, and civic backgrounds who are dedicated to the success of the Library. One of our five Foundation board members is also a current Library Trustee.

Kelly L. Parrott, President

John Kollmorgen, Vice President

Lewis M. Roch III, Secretary-Treasurer

CIVIC: Former Building Advisory Committee and finance chair, Capital Campaign Committee, North Hampton Public Library; former committee member, chairman, treasurer, advancement chair, assistant scoutmaster, and BSA 30-year veteran, Boy Scout Troop 162 North Hampton, NH; former member and Executive Committee, Seacoast SCORE (20-year veteran); former chairman, Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (now Learning Ally), Texas Unit; former board member, International Dyslexia Association, Baltimore, MD; former member Rotary International, San Marcos, Texas.
PROFESSIONAL: Twenty-year veteran entrepreneur and corporate executive plus an additional 20-plus years as a businessman and investor. Currently serving on the board of directors of an energy company. Current and past investments in telecommunications and technology (cellular, video networking), agriculture (farming, timbering), commercial and residential real estate (apartment buildings, condominiums, strip centers, commercial buildings), oil and gas exploration and production, environmental sustainability (wind and solar, carbon sequestration), venture capital (artificial intelligence driven SaaS in financial technology, edge computing, biomedical), and brick and mortar retail.
EDUCATION: MBA, The University of Texas at Austin; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dana Hooper, Fundraising Chair

CIVIC: Former board member of New England Association of Personnel Consultants, Lighthouse Kids and EFAC (Education for All Children), co-chair Friends of the North Hampton Library, co-chair NHS School Wide Volunteer Coordinators, North Hampton Youth Soccer coach, member North Hampton School Building Committee, Winnacunnet High School Building Committee, co-chair of United Way of Greater Boston Pacesetter Campaign at Shawmut Bank of Boston.
PROFESSIONAL: President of Hayward Hooper and Associates (executive recruiting firm). Former regional manager and product manager, General Electric Aerospace Division, Large Screen Video Displays; manager of commercial cash management, Shawmut Bank of Boston; international management consultant, Synectics, Inc.; manager of franchise analytics and development, General Electric Industrial Systems Division; General Electric Technical Marketing Training Program.

Susan Leonardi

PROFESSIONAL: Reference librarian for Northern Essex Community College and Southern New Hampshire University. Former student library assistant, Dean B. Ellis Library; accounting firm experience; professional field experience, University of New Hampshire's Dimond Library.

The North Hampton Public Library and Cultural Center Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit whose mission is to support the North Hampton Public Library and Cultural Center. The Foundation is registered with the State of New Hampshire Department of State’s Corporate Division, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Charitable Trust Unit, and the Town of North Hampton, NH. The Foundation has a Certificate of Good Standing from the NH Department of State and has filed the following information with the NH Attorney General's Charitable Trust Unit: 1) IRS Form 1023 Tax Exempt Application, 2) IRS 501 (c) (3) Determination Letter, 3) Articles of Agreement, as amended, 4) Bylaws, as amended, 5) New Hampshire Certificate of Registration, 6) New Hampshire Form NHCT-2A Annual Reports, and 7) Nonprofit Reports, copies of which may also be obtained upon request made to our secretary
